Langkawi

Langkawi is a Unesco World Heritage Site, and conveniently, it is just down the highway in Selangor. While most tourists go to Langkawi for its beautiful beaches, you can also visit the cultural precinct, caves, and waterfalls!

Langkawi is a beautiful city with many sights to see. If you have time, take a day to explore both cities together! You can take public buses or boats which depart from Terminal C in Kuala Lumpur’s Mehrabakhian District.

Ipoh

Many believe that the first Europeans to visit Malaysia were brought there by the sultan! This is due to the presence of Europe-style castles and Hindu-style temples.

Tourists are accustomed to seeing these landmarks, as most Muslims worship inside them. However, these places of worship are not allowed to attract too much attention these days.

Aside from being educational, going to these sites can be spiritually fulfilling as well. By visitin gthem, you will also be contributing to the country’s economy as tourism revenues rise.

Many of these specialties are Iban specialties, so if you are a fan of Iban cooking, this is the place to go. There are many Iban restaurants all over the city, and they all have good reasons to be popular.

There’s always something new chefs are trying to experiment with, and since we were both hungry and wanted to try something new, we headed to Kitchen Imaginarium. The staff was very helpful in teaching us how to use their kitchen equipment and introduce ourselves as cookware owners.

Nature parks

If you’re looking for some nature time, you should visit one of the many nature parks in Malaysia. There are many natural parks all over the country, so it is just a matter of choosing the one you want to visit.

Most nature parks have beautiful trails and waterfalls, so if you’re into that kind of thing. These parks also have notable animals like elephants, tigers, and lions.

However, keep in mind that visiting an animal park is not recommended if you are not experienced with wildlife or if you are not a fan of seeing animals like leopards or crocodiles.

Visiting an animal park is considered casual exercise and can help improve your cardio and Strength Training abilities, but doing some research first is important.
