About us

The Family
Hi there…

I’m Ronnie and after spending 22 years in the travel industry (yes, I started when I was 10 years-old), I’ve learned a few things (not too many but a few). These days, I’m traveling extensively with my family and am putting some of those things to use along with new ideas that crop up with every experience.

Hopefully some of my disasters ideas make your travels more fun and relaxing. The worst is when you feel you need a vacation after your vacation. Although, I don’t think I’ll ever figure out a way around the post-trip laundry.

Attending these trips is my lovely family.

Michael is my husband. This is my second marriage and his first. He is a great man, awesome husband, wonderful dad, and fantastic step-dad. One of the things I learned from my first, 13 year marriage (yes, I was 10 then too) is to take advantage of any opportunity to do things as a family and as a couple, especially traveling.

Justin is my oldest son. He’s an adult now (gag!) so he is coming on less and fewer trips with us. Though the trips that he does come on are always more fun!

Matthew is the middle child. He likes to have fun no matter what we do. He loves to help with everything, including the luggage (although mainly when he gets the 360 roller bag but really, who doesn’t want that)?

Leah is the baby. She has already been to more places than most people see in their lifetime. Granted, she won’t remember any of it but I have the pictures to prove it to her.

With three kids of such varying ages, trip planning can be…tough exciting! The results don’t always go as planned but that what makes the trip fun, and I really do mean fun!

If you don’t find the tips helpful maybe you’ll just find the stories entertaining. Either way, leave me a comment or send me an email and let me know!

Enjoy reading and happy travels,

Ronnie…
