Takasu is a temple located in Kita-ku, Osaka. It was established in the 13th century and is one of the oldest temples in Osaka.

Today, it is a place where people go to pray and study the sutras. A sutra is a short, condensed passage of Buddhist teaching. There are more than five thousand sutras, called ternies.

The sages who compiled the sertas were very careful about their words, so many of them can read and write. This makes it possible for modern-day practitioners to use the sertas as lessons on how to be better at Buddhism.

One unique feature of Takasu is its nave, or main hall. When original owners designed it, they made sure that it was well ventilated so that people could come and go during prayer sessions. This made sense because only those with proper breathing techniques can fully understand the teachings of a sutra.
