Dear Gentle Reader,
Would you be my Valentine? Why you? Because you’re awesome! And, I’m not just saying that…
You see, my dream since I was a little girl (trying make straight hair curly), is to write. Through the years, my career path didn’t necessarily always put me on that path. Of course, whenever I could write for business purposes, I would and I did a pretty good job.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t the true kind of writing I wanted to do. Don’t get me wrong, I still liked it and appreciated it. I just never fully pursued writing the way I wanted.
Why?
Why? Why? Why?
Here’s why…I was afraid.
Afraid of rejection.
Afraid of failure.
Afraid of not being perfect.
Afraid of my shadow (okay, not really that one but I think you get the point).
This blog has helped me get past that fear. Not entirely but a lot! I mean I’ve published a family travel tip book (no pressure but you should check it out, especially since we’re Valentines and all).
The point is, I couldn’t have gotten this far without you. Oh, I know you probably don’t visit everyday and you don’t comment nearly as often as I’d, I mean…you’d like but you do visit. Feel free to do it more (really, I’m okay with it).
You’re here now and that’s all that matters.
