Aging Expectations

San Diego Final Trip Review

You might remember I posted our travel plan for San Diego. I’m a big planner, a big list maker. It drives my family nuts, but I can’t help myself.

When I do a travel plan, I don’t have to stick to it exactly. I am flexible! In fact, what usually happens is; we don’t follow the list. We definitely miss a few things or add some unknowns.

For our San Diego trip though, we stuck with it almost exactly. Here’s how it stacked up…

Day One (Early Evening Arrival):

We did it! There was a long line. The food was okay. The service super-friendly.

  • Walk around Old Town

We did it! It was so chilly though, we didn’t appreciate it as much as we should.

Day Two:

  • Breakfast at the Sheraton (included in our rate)

Did it.

Did it. This is a cool place. However, they make such a big deal about the tram ride, which was great. But, it’s like a 20 minute walk from the entrance. I didn’t think we’d ever find it. Don’t miss the Lemur Walk. You must be 5 years old but it’s amazing!

  1. I’m so glad you had a great visit to San Diego and stuck to your itinerary. Thanks for the mentions and happy to have helped. I hope you come back again and spend more time at the beaches or Coronado and downtown. I’ll have more food suggestions too 🙂 Looking forward to your Mikko review. I always pass it but we’ve never gone in. Yay for In-N-Out and Balboa Park.
