I’m not really a burger person. I rarely (no pun intended) order a burger when I’m out. So it’s weird I’ve been to two burger places recently.
This one is a little different though because I am a Food Network person. And, I do really like Bobby Flay. I mean if you don’t like Bobby Flay, you probably don’t like the Food Network since he is on almost every show!
The burger place we tried was Bobby’s Burger Palace. I am so thankful to live in an area that offers so many great dining options. My waistline is not as thankful as my taste buds but as a whole we’re really grateful!
I can tell you that Bobby’s Burger Palace did not…
We really liked it. It’s a little funky inside. You wait in line, order, grab a seat, and they bring out your food. The seating is shared but the spacing is good so you don’t feel like you’re eating with strangers.
My son is a burger person so he got a Crunchburger with BACON, which he loved. Bobby’s thing is adding potato chips directly to the burger – hence, Crunchburger!
My daughter, who does not eat burgers, got a grilled cheese with BACON on it. Now every time we talk about going out to eat, she requests Bobby’s. She loved it. Every last bite, which is saying something.
I got the Santa Fe turkey burger, which was delicious. We also had the sweet potato and regular fries. We all liked the sweet potato better and the dipping sauce was addicting.
There are also a bunch of bar-b-que type sauces on the table. In my opinion, not that special. The food is great without mucking it up with any of those sauces.
They also have huge milkshakes but we didn’t partake.
Here’s what I loved:
- the burgers
- the sweet potato dipping sauce
- bacon on grilled cheese (if Leah loves it, then I love it)
Here’s what I liked:
- the atmosphere
- the fries
- the service
Here’s what I didn’t love:
You may remember we recently went to Zinburger. Both places are very good and very similar but the burgers are different.
Zinburger’s are bigger and the roll is more dense. I like the sweet potato dipping sauce much better at Bobby’s.
I’d probably go with Bobby’s if I had to choose but I’d love to hear what you think!
Here are some other places to try in the Cherry Hill area:
