Here is something fun…Leah and I are taking piano lessons…together!
We go at the same time to the piano teacher’s house. Leah usually lasts for about 15 minutes but the teacher can get 30 minutes out of her. Then it’s my turn. I get the last 30 minutes (or 40 minutes if it’s a bad day).
It’s a lot of fun…no, really. I’m not kidding, it’s fun!
But that’s not what this post is about…
This post is about great customer service (the title might have tipped you off).
I thought it would be fun to get a piano music book of children’s songs that I could play and then Leah would be even more interested. Now, here’s what I know about music…
Here’s what I know about reading music…
less than zero.
So when I went into the music store, I immediately asked for help. There was a young man working in the “book” area. He asked me what I wanted and I told him my story.
He was really helpful and showed me a bunch of books with beginner music, which I would (probably) be able to play.
I purchased a book and even bought a metronome. Again, the young man was really helpful and showed me a bunch, giving his suggestion as to what might be best for me.
It was a very nice experience. Probably not worthy of a whole post.
Here’s what is though…
Yep, it’s a thank you card!
I received it a few days later. I thought it was so nice and unexpected. He even noted my daughter and I taking lessons. So amazing! That is great customer service. That is full post worthy.
Do you have any great customer service experiences?
Any not-so-great experiences?
I’d loved to know…so I can experience more great and less not-so-great!
